You may be wondering how some players know their opponents' equipment just by looking at their statistics? Well answer in this article!

In PvP, it is important to be able to anticipate your opponent's stuff in order to know which element the latter will hit and play accordingly. For example against an Iop in Padgref, you know he can hit you very hard on theJudgment Sword : Unlike other Iops, you are not safe even when hidden behind obstacles.

Note: This article is mainly useful for the tournament server. On the official server, your estimates are much more likely to be distorted by smithmagic.

Analysis of opponent stats:

There are several indicators that can highlight your opponent's panoply. But one of the most effective remains fixed resistors: it is therefore on these that we will base ourselves for this example.

What should strike you in this image are the 12 fixed d water: you can reach 20 fixed d in an element with two items at 10, or 1 item at 20, but having 12 in 2 items is impossible: it is therefore a single piece of equipment. There are 4 very high level items (195+) that can give these 12 resistances:

We will immediately eliminate the items Glourseleste, which are not suitable for PvP at all. It can therefore be a Padgref headdress, or Kamasterisk boots. Logically (= based on the opposing class as well as the fashionable outfits), a padgref headdress is accompanied by other do cry items, such as theRing of Padgraf for example:

The 10 d earth/air correspond well to the characteristics to be guessed. Moreover, the low vitality of the Padgref is felt: only 4095. We conclude that the adversary will undoubtedly be in Baguette Range, oriented air/fire do cry.

By analyzing a little more the items with fixed D and oriented air / fire, we realize that Cape Lati is also responsible for these fixed D.

You will have understood it in the example above, thelogical analysis visible stats of your opponent as well as a good knowledge base of THL items will let you guess his stuff. Here we only analyze fixed Ds but there are other factors that can help you:

-> Current meta: Which panos are trending?
-> Class of your opponent: What are the mainstream stuffs of the opposing class?
-> Which combination of elements would make the most sense for the opposing team? (knowing that there is almost always a healer, ie a fire character).

You now have the method: let's summarize the main points

Rather than making an endless list of stat analyses, here are some examples of rather popular items:

What should catch your eye? Item(s) probable(s) conclusions

A character who does not base a healer but can be fire with 10 of D fixed air (Enutrof, Pandawa, Sacrier, ...)

A fire character with the ability to heal properly.

A character who does not base a healer but can be fire with 20 of D for (Enutrof, Pandawa, Sacrier, ...)

A fire character with the ability to heal a lot.
-20 d for a class Feu and / or Water

Very popular for their AP bonus, but beware: on a character Feu with a Baguette Mallefisk, the d's will be 0!

-21 re cry on a class Feu, with large re Once again it may be a fire base, but be careful if coupled with the Baguette Mallefisk !
-30 re cry on a class Fire, correct AP dodge Base fire, but this ring is often used with a R'lyugluglu panoply to fill the cries.
10 d fixed Earth and Water on a class Earth. Very common in classic Mono Earth or Earth/Fire sets.

Re cri > 70

Only 5 outfits give a lot of critical resistance:
- Panoplistik: Earth / Fire / Dopou
- Queen of Thieves: Air / Water / Earth
- Ghoul Set: Earth / Fire / Water / Dodge AP
- R'lyugluglu set: Fire / Air
- Chaloeil Set: Multi element

Otherwise, it can be explained by the association of Shields, and some less common re cri items (see here). The key is to associate this with the factors seen above the table!

A tackle > 120

This is most likely a single agility base.

A tackle between 60 and 120

This is undoubtedly the work of the Strigid, Seabed or Trithon sets, but it is common to find modes Heqache Earth/Air with this tackle (Sram, Ecaflip, Iop mainly).
A mediocre tackle, see zero on a rox Earth On Iop, Ecaflip, and sometimes Xelor, the chaloeil arc is not that rare. But his -30 tackle are felt!
Many resistances on a class Water, MP dodge and high tackle Seabed Set Very common on Pandavas, Huppermage, and sometimes Eniripsa.
