Destiny 2 – Season of the Worthy: Class Abilities Guide

Destiny 10 Season 2 was released on March 10 with Patch 2.8.0, an update that changes various aspects of the game. This article details the changes to character class abilities for Season of the Worthy.

hunter

Subclass Changes: Gunslinger


  • Pomegranate Tripmine
    • +/- Now sticks to enemy players and fighters, but reduces base damage to 140 from 160, except when used with Young Ahamkara's Exotic Spine, which keeps damage at 160
  • Path of a Thousand Cuts Ability Tree
    • +/- Blade Barrage no longer applies large amounts of knockback to tank destroyers, has a reduced knife detonation radius of 3m from 5m, and has an increase in knife impact damage from 48 to 35
  • Marksman Skill Tree Path
    • - Weighted knife now has reduced tracking strength and its tracking style has changed to reduce the chance of the knife straying away from its target

Subclass Changes: Arcstrider

  • Arcstaff
    • +/- Fixed issue where players using the ability could infinitely dodge, even after super energy depleted
  • Current skill tree path
    • - Tempest Strike auto-targeting angle reduced by 12% and bonus damage against low level PvE fighters reduced by 20%
  • Way of the wind capacity tree
    • - Focused breathing dodge recharge speed bonus reduced by 10% and sprint activation delay increased from 0,35 seconds to 1 second
    • + battle meditation has reduced recharge rate of grenade and melee abilities from 500% to 400% while health is critical
    • - lightning reflexes reduced damage resistance while dodging in PvP from 40% to 32%

Subclass Changes: Nightstalker



  • Pathfinder skill tree path
    • + Moebius quiver now has a time limit increased from 8 to 10 seconds, or from 10 to 12 seconds with Orpheus Rig
    • + fighting layout has increased melee cooldown from 6% to 8% on grenade damage, or from 17,5% to 24% when you make an ally invisible

warlock

Melee Abilities

  • + Melee range increased from 4,5m to 5,5m and is now 6,5m longer than Titans and Hunters, although Ophidian Aspect melee range is still XNUMXm

Subclass Changes: Stormcaller

  • Stormtrance
    • + Damage buildup decays slower after releasing the attack button
  • Conduction Ability Attunement Tree
    • - Arch Web reduced chain damage from 36 to 27, reduced chain range from 12m to 11m, and chain grenade energy recharge from 3% to 2% in PvE and from 10% to 8% in PvP
    • - Ionic Blink increased super energy cost from 4% to 6% and reduced flash range from 4,5m to 4,2m
    • - Melee chain lightning chain damage reduced from 31 to 27
  • Control Ability Attunement Tree
    • + Ionic trace increased lifeline travel speed by 14%, lifeline turn speed by 83%, and lifeline height to make it easier to collect traces in flight
    • + Chaos Reach reduced the intensity of visual effects to improve visibility and increased the beam endpoint radius from 2m to 2,4m
  • Item Ability Tree Harmonization
    • +/- Electrostatic overvoltage Now correctly increases class ability regeneration when near allies (as it erroneously increased super regeneration before)

  • Fission Ability Attunement Tree
    • - wearable supernova
      • – Increased activation time by 0,6 seconds
      • – Dwell time reduced from 3,5 to 2,5 seconds
      • – Range reduced by 20%
      • – Horizontal bolt gap tightened by 25%
      • – Exploding a bolt now deals spontaneous damage
      • – Bolt explosion radius reduced from 3m to 2,5m
    • + Nova Warp
      • + Increased damage resistance from 49% to 51%
      • + Increased Super idle duration from 22 seconds to 24 seconds
      • + Reduced the cost of Dark Blink by 12,5%
    • + Black matter grenade recharge after kill increased from 10% to 14%
  • Hunger Abilities Attunement Tree
    • +/- V
      • + Increased projectile speed by 33%
      • + Increased lag time from 5 to 7 seconds
      • – Reduced persistent damage per tick from 27 to 24
      • +Nova Bomb now kills proc devours
    • + Devour
      • + Devour duration increased from 10 to 11 seconds
      • + Insatiable
      • + PvE kills now grant between 16% and 24% grenade energy, depending on the level of the enemy defeated
      • + Player who kills automatically grants 24% grenade energy

Subclass Changes: Dawnblade



  • Harmonization of the sky
    • +/- The heat is rising buff fixed an issue where the ability caused PvE fighters to ignore you
    • + Icarus Dash fixed cooling to no longer interfere with dawn dodging

Titan

Barricade

  • +/- Health increased from 500 hp to 600 hp, but some weapons now deal more damage to titan barriers
    • – 30% more damage dealt to Barricades: Sniper Rifles, Grenade Launchers, Linear Fusion Rifles, Machine Guns, Trace Rifles and Barrier Weapons
    • – 60% more damage dealt to Barricades: Shotguns and Fusion Rifles

Shoulder Charges (Hammer Bash, Seismic Bash, Shield Bash)

  • – Auto-targeting angle reduced by 50%
  • – Targeted lunge distance reduced from 6m to 5,5m
  • + Increased untargeted lunge distance from 4,5m to 5,5m
  • – Reduced bonus damage against low level PvE fighters by 20%

Subclass Changes: Striker

  • Light attacks
    • + Increased cost of Light Attacks from 11,5% to 12,5%, excluding Lesser Shaft from 3% to 4,5%
  • Heavy Attacks
    • + Reduced heavy attack cost from 25% to 21%
  • Juggernaut Ability Tree Code
    • - frontal assault no longer increases weapon equip speed, duration reduced from 15 to 12 seconds, and weapon stability bonus reduced from 75 to 44.
  • Missile Ability Tree Code
    • +/- Ballistic Slam Now randomly releases Inertia Override on hit, has significant recoil increase, and bonus damage against low level PvE fighters reduced by 20%
    • + Inertia Priority The ability now has an indicator that shows the remaining time, and an activation delay of 0,5 seconds has been added to allow the Titan to make the most of its duration
    • + Thundercrash now has more consistent flight speed, increased detonation damage to 3900 from 3200, and increased damage resistance in Super to 53% from 49%
    • – Impact Conversion now reduced super energy gain per hit from 4% to 3%

Subclass Changes: Sunscreen

  • Devastator Skill Tree Code
    • +/- Burning Maul attacks can no longer hit enemies through walls, Super idle duration has been reduced from 28 to 25 seconds, and damage falloff has been added to Heavy-Slam type explosion, which is now less likely inflict damage through cover.
