Destiny 2 - How to Get Free Exotic Loot with Twitch Prime Rewards Trial

Bungie and Twitch Prime have teamed up to bring Destiny 2 players free exotic booty when they sign up for Twitch Prime membership. Those who are already Amazon Prime members are ready to reap the rewards, but if you're not a Prime member, you can start your 30-day free trial here; HOWEVER, if you're only looking to run Prime's free trial for Exotic Loop Loops and want to be a bit more selective about the bundles you receive, wait to sign up for the free trial until you have read this entire article.

Once you become a Prime Rewards member, you must claim your free Exotic loot on the Destiny Twitch Prime page. After that, you'll need to visit Shipwright Amanda Holliday at the Tower to collect your in-game rewards.

Free Exotic loot will drop in six bundles of four items (which will be mostly Exotic but also Legendary) with one drop per month. These packs seem to be aimed primarily at players new to Destiny 2, as they include items from past seasons that many veteran players may already have.

The first gear drop will last until February 25 and contains the following Exotics:

• SUROS Regime - Exotic Auto Rifle (Warmind Era)
• Helping Hand - Exotic Weapon Ornament (Warmind Era)
• Skyline Flipside Shell – Exotic Ghost Shell (Warmind Era)
• Unsecured / OUTCRY – Exotic Ship (Black Armory Era)

Now here's the fun part for any players who have all those Exotics but don't have a Twitch Prime membership: you might still be able to grab some free Exotic loot in two of the sets set for the next six months. . Twitter user @JpDeathBlade tweeted this image, which apparently shows a leak of all Exotic and Legendary loot dropping in the following months:

If that picture is accurate, those of us who aren't Prime members will be able to grab two months of those Exotic loot completely free (because again, "free" doesn't always mean free) and chances are, you've landed on this item because you actually want completely free loot.

If you love Rifts as much as I do, take a look at the list below to figure out when to start your 30-day free trial with Twitch Prime so you can grab the two Exotic loot drops you want the most. As long as the leaked image above is accurate, you will be able to get two consecutive bundles for a total of eight Exotic loot items completely for free. Remember to cancel your subscription before the trial ends, or you'll pay $12,99 per month until you do. And that, my friends, is not free.

Note how each of these leaked Exotic loot from Months 2-6 each contains one Legendary item, unlike Month 1 which contains four Exotics. Not only are these items not completely free if you continue your Twitch Prime membership past the free trial period, there is also a legendary item in each of these “exotic” drops. See, us little guys (and girls) aren't the only ones who love flaws.
