Destiny 2: Best Exotic Weapons for PvP Season 14 – Season of the Splicer

Destiny 2The new season is in full swing, we're here to let you know about our "Destiny 10's Top 2 Exotic Weapons for PvP" list, updated for Season of the Splicer.

Destiny 2 is known by its community for releasing unbalanced weapons in the past, creating a tricky meta in PvE and PvP. The Crucible, Paths of Osiris, Iron Banner, and Gambit are some of the most popular aspects of Destiny 2. Many Guardians are exclusively PvP players, but even those who just play PvP know how to how crucial it is to have the right weapon to complete all the weekly challenges. or seasonal rank rewards.
Here are the best Destiny 2 Exotic weapons for PvE in Season 14.

Rifle No. 10 - Jötunn

  • Charge shot: Hold down the trigger to charge up a tracking shot that explodes and burns on impact.

It follows enemy combatants and kills them on contact. Charge the Jötunn at an enemy fighter in an open area to get a free kill or two.

#9 Linear Fusion Rifle – Sleeper Simulator

  • Sleeping Beauty: The weapon's laser excessively penetrates enemies and refracts on hard surfaces.

The Sleeper Simulant is excellent for taking down enemy combatants from a distance, if a Guardian struggles with sniper precision shots. It kills one or more enemies in one hit, due to over-penetration and sometimes the refracted laser knocks down one or more invisible guardians in a corner.

#8 Sidearm – Traveler's Chosen One

  • Gather the light - Final hits with this weapon grant Gathering Light stacks. Hold [Reload]: Consume stacks, granting energy to melee, grenade, and class abilities based on stack count.

A very solid handgun, its stats are well balanced and its perk allows a Guardian to fill up their Super and Ability gauges faster. More super times means more wins across the entire PvP spectrum.

# 7 Sniper Rifle – Cloudstrike

  • Lethal Polarity – Precision final blows generate lightning at the target location.

Cloudstrike isn't the best sniper in Destiny 2, but it's the only sniper with an AoE advantage that can effectively kill multiple Guardians that are grouped together with a precision finishing blow.

#6 Hand Cannon – The Last Word

  • Fan fire: This weapon fires automatically. Hip shots deal bonus precision damage while increasing reload speed and accuracy.

A very simple perk that can devastate the Guardian against their cannon. The fully automatic fire is a nice touch on top of the hip fire bonuses.

Fusion Rifle #5 - Stronghold

  • Fists of Saint: Charge to fire 3 Kinetic Slug spreads.

Bastion received a nice buff in Season of the Chosen, it acts a bit like a fusion rifle shotgun that you charge up. It is super accurate and deals incredible damage killing Guardian with a very short charge time.

#4 Pulse Rifle – No time to explain

  • Rewind Again: Precision shots and shots against fighters slowed or frozen by Stasis will return to the magazine.

There's no time to explain how powerful this pulse rifle is in the current state of PvP. It's focused on making Stasis even more powerful and making Stasis even more powerful is already too much, especially after the recent nerfs to Stasis in PvP.

# 3 Scout Rifle – Dead Man’s Tale

  • Cranial tip: Chaining precision hits grants bonus damage and increases reload speed.

Dead Man's Tale is a monster with a Guardian who is accurate with consistent precision shots. In the hands of a seasoned PvP player, this gun can ruin the match for their opponent.

Hand Cannon #2 - Ace Of Spades

  • Memento Mori: Reloading after a kill loads the magazine with a few extra damage rounds. Grants radar while aiming down sights.

Cayde-6 left behind a sweet gift in the form of this hand cannon, ensuring that even after his sad depart, he can still help his favorite guardian mock the enemy by killing them before they know already what struck him.

#1 Shotgun – The Riding Hood

  • Precision Slug: Fires a single bullet precision bullet.

What's there really to say, no one should be surprised that this Abomination still tops the PvP meta. Guardians who have played PvP even a few times have been killed too often by the pesky shotgun. If you don't see a chaperone in a match, it's time to rejoice and retire your own chaperone to make the match feel good.
