Before starting this solution, we are going to give you some guidelines and recurring information to apply throughout your game. This walkthrough was written from Kassandra's perspective, since she's the hero we've chosen. There are no concrete differences between Kassandra and Alexios in terms of how the main quests unfold. For more information, consult the guide to the differences between Alexios and Kassandra.
We won't cover side quests in this walkthrough. Another guide to side quests will be available soon. We advise you all the same to be curious and to make some appendices. Side quests that impact the storyline are mentioned in our walkthrough.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey lets you choose what kind of character you want to be and how you're going to approach each situation. In fact, we will not give you detailed indications as to the skills to unlock since they depend on your tastes. We will still suggest different approaches or an optimal approach when relevant. No matter what, we advise you to always scout locations with Ikaros (your eagle) when you come to a new fortified location.
Finally, we generally advise you to follow the advice for beginners.

Chapter 0: The 300
You start Assassin's Creed Odyssey as Léonidas of Sparta, right in the middle of a battlefield against the Persians. Your character has a very high level, which makes it almost invulnerable. This sequence aims to introduce you to the basics of combat: attacking, breaking the defense and using your skills.
When you think you have mastered these commands, you can ignore the basic soldiers and take care only of the big guys, marked with a small golden diamond. Use powerful blows to destabilize soldiers with a shield, then kill them with quick attacks.
Once all these targets have been knocked down, you will have to go back to face the leader of the Persian army. He's tougher than the ones you've defeated so far and he's capable of killing you. You will have to pass through its shield and use your skills to overcome it and complete this tutorial.
