| Lucario is the representative of the fourth generation of Pokémon. He replaced Mewtwo in Smash Bros. Brawl by resuming some of its movements. In Ultimate, he is the only fighter whose hit power increases based on the damage he takes. This makes him a character who plays a lot on the tightrope and able to turn around desperate situations. | |||

Aurasphere | |
| Charges a ball of energy that can damage opponents as it grows in power. Press B again to throw the ball. | |||

| Releases concentrated energy in a powerful palm strike. Grab enemies if they are close enough. | |||

Vit.Extreme | |
| Fly through the air and kick at the end of the journey. The trajectory can be modified during the flight. | |||

| Prepares for an opposing attack, and counter-attacks with a sliding kick if necessary. | |||

Aura Storm | |
| Mega Lucario evolves into Mega Lucario and jumps straight into the air. Lucario then fires a massive Aura beam downward. The angle of the Aura can be adjusted from left to right. Aim at opponents to do as much damage as possible. | |||
