Chests are plentiful in Clash Royale, this guide will teach you all about them.

Dance Clash Royale, chests are a very important part of the game. Indeed, it is mainly thanks to them that you will obtain maps and also ofor. This guide to let you know what they can contain, how to get them and how many types of chests exist. By the way, we start with this question.

How many types of chests are there?

It exists 12 kinds chests in the game, which have, of course, a different content, in relation to their rarity or how to obtain them. Depending on this, you will have to wait longer or shorter to be able to open them. What's more, the number of cards and gold contained in each chest increases as you progress through the Arenas. Also be aware that you cannot store which up to four chests.

Chests obtained by your victories (or shop)

For chests below, you can get them as a reward for your victories. Know that the chests are not obtained by chance, contrary to what one might think. To be more precise, they open according to a precise cycle (the more rare it is, the less you will have) and if you want to know where you are, you can, for example, use a site of this kind.
Le magic chest and the following can also be purchased in the Game store, either permanently or duringspecial offers : only for the legendary chest (500 gems) and epic chest (10.000 gold), the magic ones being coupled with other resources (gems + gold) ; in this case, you must acquire them with money, but in the form of a promotion. Know that you can predict when the offers will arrive, thanks to the StatsRoyale site. Chests purchased through the shop (Giant and Magics) are opened immediately and therefore not stored.

The wooden chest

There are still other chests in Clash Royale, which are not obtained after a victory. These are the Wooden Chest, Crown Chest, and Clan Chest.

Le wooden chest corresponds to the free chest. We get one every 4 hours, without having to do anything in particular and we can accumulate two at the same time. However, it will then be necessary to open at least one so that the time count begins for the next one. There are two other things to know: you can get gems and if card count is 3 (4 if gems), that means you have, at minimum, a guaranteed epic card (legendary possible). This mechanic can be applied to other chests.

The Crown Chest

As for the crown chest, you unlock it once you have obtained 10 crowns in your games, won or lost. However, you can only get it only once every 24 hours. However, like the free chest, you can accumulate two.

The Clan Chest

Le clan chest has a unique operation. Friday to Monday, clan players are going to have to earn as many crowns as possible to fill their clan chest so that he wins and level. The higher the level of the clan chest, the more gold and cards it will bring to its members. For chests in 2v2 mode, the number of wins will be indicated.

The Draw Chest

Let's move on to draw chest (Draft), only available at legendary arena (see here). To get it, you have to either buy it once via a special offer when you enter the arena where you need to, at least, finish at 4.000 trophies at the end of a seasonn and the higher you rank, the better the reward. The peculiarity of this chest is that each time you can choose between two cards, knowing that the rarity and the number of these are identical. For example, you can choose between 10 Skeletons and 10 Goblins.

The Tournament Chest

Finally, the tournament chest. It is only available to those who have access to Tournament Mode, i.e. from King level 8. This chest counts towards the various challenges, special events and custom tournaments. For the penultimate, there may be additional rewards, but not affecting the final contents of the chest.
