The MultiVersus Open Beta launch date has just been announced, and it's starting in July! This beta is expected on Xbox and PlayStation consoles as well as PC. The Warner Bros Games teams confirm in passing the total support for "cross-play" between the different platforms which will allow Xbox players to play against PC players, PlayStation players against Xbox and vice versa. If you are impatiently awaiting this free fighting game which is strongly inspired by Smash Bros, get ready for the launch of the open beta and even for an early access which will allow you to play before time... Multiversus open beta launch date and time, when does it start:
The open beta of the fighting game Multiversus will start simultaneously on consoles and on PC (via Steam) from Tuesday, July 26, 2022. The servers will open on this date from 18 p.m. At launch, it will be possible to choose from among the 16 characters available, stars of Warner Bros like Batman, Superman, Bugs Bunny or even Tom and Jerry.

They have all come together to fight in intense 2v2 matches. Those who don't want to wait until then can turn to the open beta early access which is accessible under conditions.
How to get Multiversus Open Beta Early Access to play early:
Anyone who participated in the Closed Alpha will have automatic access to Early Access. If you previously played during the Multiversus alpha, check your emails to retrieve your access code. All you have to do is choose the platform of your choice and download the game to start playing. If you don't have a code for the Multiversus beta, you can still try to get your access with Twitch drops. Here's how…
- Create or sign in to a WB Games account to link it to your Twitch account.
- Watch a streamer play MultiVersus for 60 minutes with drops enabled.
- You will then get your early access to the open beta. This will allow you to play in advance from Tuesday July 19 at 18 p.m.
- Claim your early access to the open beta for the platform of your choice in your WB Games account!
Note that if an internet connection is required to play Multiversus, it is not however mandatory to have a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live subscription to play. The developers have also confirmed that player progress during Early Access and Open Beta will persist throughout the game's lifecycle.
